[ For those who want an action post, you’ll find Terezi in the gardens acting out an intense COURTBLOCK DRAMA with a variety of colorful Scalemates. The stage: a courtroom, with an imposing chalk-doodle on a tree serving as the PRIME ADJUDICATOR. Terezi is the prosecution and executioner, as emphasized by nooses hanging from the surrounding trees. There is no defense.

Over the course of the day (and well into the night), Terezi will be putting her dragon plushies on trials for many different crimes and will probably drag you into her roleplay if you approach.

For those who would prefer a video post, Terezi will be broadcasting the best part of her roleplay scenario: the hangings. Periodically, she’ll begin a video and announce a brief:

"Senator Berrytush, for crimes against the empire and treason, you are sentenced to death!"

Or

"Madame de Applesnuggle, for bribery and corruption, you are sentenced to death!"

before hoisting the offending dragon plushie up to her makeshift gallows (read: garden trees) and hanging it. All trials end in death. Justice has been served. ]

She turns (dramatically), pointing her dragonheaded cane in Jade's general direction (also dramatically). ]

Our lead witness for the next session has arrived. Lady Citrusjoy, do you have any reservations before we begin?

[ Jade takes a look around her only to realize that Terezi is actually pointing at her.

She is Lady Citrusjoy. She giggles and plays along, getting up off the ground. ]

None at all Madam!

Excellent! [ There's a moment or two as Terezi resets the scene. A Red Scalemate is under suspicion of stealing the Empress' jewels!! This devious individual has a special noose waiting for him, but it's the mighty Redglare's duty to make an example of him first.

Terezi "examines" the courtroom, nudging a few Scalemates into the perfect positions.

Okay, good?

Yeah, good.

The stage is set. ]

Court is now in session!

[ Terezi approaches, gives a slight bow, and then guides Jade to a box set up by the HIS MOST HONORABLE TYRANNY tree. ]

I want you to give the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Is that understood?

[ She glances at His Honorable Tyranny for a moment. Boy, Alternian judges sure are scary! Actually, Alternian everythings are scary. And she does feel just a bit silly for doing this, but the temptation to become even more multicultural is much too great. She looks back at Terezi and nods ]

I, Lady Citrusjoy, promise to only speak the truth!

[ Terezi leans in close, her nose just inches away from Jade's face. And. She sniiiiiiiiiiffs. For a good minute, she remains completely silent, just sniffing. MUST SMELL THE TRUTH, obviously. ]

Alright. [ Grin. ]

Let's have some justice!

[ She finally pulls away, spreading her arms in a dramatic gesture and begins addressing the "audience." ]

Ladies and gentlemen, before us today is the miserable case of Mr. Cherrybreath.

On the 11th bilunar perigee of the 4th light season's equinox, this deviant was hungry. But, no! Ladies and gentlemen! It wasn't for food! It wasn't for glory or even power! It was for wealth. Wealth that did not belong to him.

[ She points dramatically at the offender. ]

He wanted all the wealth! All of it! That's why he broke into the Empress' castlehive and stole the royal jewels! He thought he could get away with it too!

[ She turns, back to the audience, voice low. ]

However...

There was a single witness to this crime.

[ Step, step, step. Terezi approaches Jade. ]

Lady Citrusjoy, tell His Most Honorable Tyranny what you saw.

[ Oh man Terezi you are just too funny. Jade might break out of character every once in a while to laugh quietly to herself.]

Well I was on my way to visit a good friend of mine, that would be The Empress, when someone ran toward me! He was in such a hurry that he almost knocked me down. It was awful. Just awful. He was also carrying a suspicious looking bag in his arms.
[ She glares at Mr. Cherrybreath. You can almost see (or smell) the guilt in his cute little button eyes. ]

When I entered the castle I found out the jewels had just been stolen.

[ Jade's giggles are tactfully ignored. No tomfoolery in the courtroom! However, Terezi understands that Jade is a roleplay neophyte. Jade will get better with time. ]

Hmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Why were you in such a hurry that day, Mr. Cherrybreath?

[ Terezi leans intimidatingly over the Scalemate. She keeps this pose, completely silent, for five minutes. Redglare would be proud. ]

[These five minutes might just be the most intense five minutes of Jade's life. How is Terezi able to stand so still??? She is like a statue. A statue of righteous justice. ]

Obviously he was running from the scene of the crime!!

[ She points an accusing finger at the guilty scalemate. ]

[ Hold on, one more minute of silence after Jade speaks.

Okay, we're good. ]

Obviously. But there's still one thing we must discover: where are the jewels now?

[ If Jade's perceptive enough, she might notice a bag sitting in the HIS MOST HONORABLE TYRANNY tree. If not, it'll fall down sometime during the next five minutes of silence as Terezi stares down Cherrybreath. ]

[ She fails to notice the bag. She is much too busy focusing on Terezi's intimidation techniques. But eventually the bag falls right in front of His Honorable Tyranny, the jewels slipping out onto the ground.

Jade gasps and the audience goes wild. This criminal is a bold one indeed. Only a daredevil would place the only physical evidence in the courtroom itself. Well played Cherrybreath.

Well played. ]

[ Well played, indeed.

But Justice is sharp, and Cherrybreath's wit is a dulled blade in comparison. Like a bear fishing for salmon, Terezi pounces on those jewels and holds them aloft to the shocked audience.

A few Skittles might fall out. Because that's what's in the bag. ]

[ And with that dramatic proclamation, Terezi strings 'em up. Thus ends Mr. Cherrybreath. Justice is served. ]

Good job, Terezi!

[You'll have to excuse her. She is not aware that Terezi is to be called Redglare in the courtroom. She claps for her once more. Rping is pretty fun!

Except there is that lingering hope that Alternian Court isn't as... brutal as this. ]

[ She'd correct you, but her mouth is currently full of Victory Skittles.

Drool. Everywhere.

But she's not a savage. She's got enough decency to offer Jade some. ]

[ Yay skittles!!

Taste the rainbow. Taste the justice. Jade eats the green ones first. ]

So what now? The criminal has been successfully prosecuted!
