[It had taken him by surprise as well. Somewhat. As much as that information could affect him. There hadn't been any definitive plans, no details, nothing that elaborate. All that was there was the determination to be rid of her. Still not enough for an effective revolution, but it was something.]

Sasagawa told me. [As well as his own mirror.]

No other details yet, other than for us over here to try and convince other mirrors to take part in it.

I know that they want to or will have to fight her.

[She did have good questions. It was hard to tell from mere writing or scribbles on the glass mirrors if any of their mirror versions had been lying or not. Weren't they all supposed to be loyal to the Queen? But loyalty and liking her were two different things. And could they even kill her at all?

Minato had believed Ryohei's mirror though about the desire to revolt, especially after meeting him and speaking to him on the Chess field. And he did believe his own mirror. But he knew all too well about betrayal as well.]

I also don't know what will happen. They might need someone to be in charge afterward. But I doubt they've figured out who.

As for loyalty, they'll have to be careful. We can try to help them as best we can in determining who is on which side when we talk to more of them.

[ Thinking, thinking, thinking. Hmmmm. Secrecy was most important. With a startled realization, Terezi inwardly hoped the Queen couldn't view private messages. It seemed like something uncharacteristic of her, but you can never be too careful.

Just in case though...
]

[ Already, ideas are popping into her head. CandyKarkat would definitely get involved. He had spouted his revolutionary ideas at her before, and this sounded straight up his alleyway. Determining loyalty to the Queen would also be an issue, like she had said. Mirrors and the Queen were inexplicably linked, but the question was how.

Finally, determining Minato's level of commitment. It's one thing to help friends find a way to stay in an alternate dimension/universe/whatever. It's something else entirely when you're independently motivated to find a way to stay in the alternate dimension/universe/whatever. The last thing she needs is him to bail when things get tough.

Okay. I can meet with you later, if you like.

[Filters and locks could only do so much despite how well he had been taught to set them up. For the most part they did block out plenty of other peering or simply curious eyes, but anyone determined enough may be able to break through the coding.

He could understand her asking him that as well. It might've seemed out of the blue that he would do something like this. He knew that if he had to return home, he would. He had to. Even if there was some reluctance now tugging at the back of his mind. But the point of returning wasn't entirely for himself, the same with wanting to help out.]

I have friends who want to stay. Including the mirrors.

[Which might've been odd for him to say at first, but he did regard some of the mirrors as his friends. It didn't matter on which side of the mirrors or the Mansion that they lived; they were separate entities, separate people. They should be happy too.]

The mirrors are real. They deserve to live now that they do.

[Not that all the mirrors were good or moral or anything like that. But it wasn't right for someone to take the life of someone else.]

[ That's actually...

A surprising idea. This conversation is certainly making Terezi reassess her lack of opinion on the mirrors. The only one she's really spoken with in any depth was Karkat's mirror, and he was just a little too ridiculous to take seriously. Maybe too ridiculous to even respect.

But...

[Minato smiled, glad that Terezi could understand him, but it hadn't come entirely as as surprise since she held the same ideal in wanting to protect her friends.]

Okay. I'm looking forward to it.

[He had to go do some more information gathering as well. Who knew how much progress had been made on the planning front on the other side. He had to go and find out.]
