[ For those who want an action post, you’ll find Terezi in the gardens acting out an intense COURTBLOCK DRAMA with a variety of colorful Scalemates. The stage: a courtroom, with an imposing chalk-doodle on a tree serving as the PRIME ADJUDICATOR. Terezi is the prosecution and executioner, as emphasized by nooses hanging from the surrounding trees. There is no defense.

Over the course of the day (and well into the night), Terezi will be putting her dragon plushies on trials for many different crimes and will probably drag you into her roleplay if you approach.

For those who would prefer a video post, Terezi will be broadcasting the best part of her roleplay scenario: the hangings. Periodically, she’ll begin a video and announce a brief:

"Senator Berrytush, for crimes against the empire and treason, you are sentenced to death!"

Or

"Madame de Applesnuggle, for bribery and corruption, you are sentenced to death!"

before hoisting the offending dragon plushie up to her makeshift gallows (read: garden trees) and hanging it. All trials end in death. Justice has been served. ]

[Her coin. He'd pick it up for her later. For now, he had another question to answer.

There had been several reasons to explain. Though he knew that anyone who had done wrong should be punished accordingly, it wasn't his place to decide, not as a mere witness or instrument of the law. He didn't enforce it, nor carry out the punishment itself.]

... I have no authority to sentence the accused.

[ She fails to notice the bag. She is much too busy focusing on Terezi's intimidation techniques. But eventually the bag falls right in front of His Honorable Tyranny, the jewels slipping out onto the ground.

Jade gasps and the audience goes wild. This criminal is a bold one indeed. Only a daredevil would place the only physical evidence in the courtroom itself. Well played Cherrybreath.

[Brennan was taking a walk through the gardens right at sunset to enjoy the newly blooming flowers in the orange cast.

She rounds a hedge, and stumbles upon one of the trolls she's yet to meet. The young troll has numerous toys set in an arrangement that, to Brennan, resembles a courtroom.

She pauses to listen to the troll girl's speech, and finds that she is staging mock trials of a number of stuffed dragonlike creatures. The most recent, apparently named "Madame de Applesnuggle", has been sentenced to death for bribery and corruption.

She chuckles.]

Isn't the death penalty rather harsh for bribery?

[Moving two precise steps to the right.]

...What is the evidence?

[ Terezi puts her hand on Akihiko's shoulder and pulls him aside, away from the Scalemate. She speaks, keeping her voice low: ]

[ Approoooacchinggg. Her tongue's out, tasting the air. 'Personal space' does not exist in Terezi's mind. ]

[ Well played, indeed.

But Justice is sharp, and Cherrybreath's wit is a dulled blade in comparison. Like a bear fishing for salmon, Terezi pounces on those jewels and holds them aloft to the shocked audience.

A few Skittles might fall out. Because that's what's in the bag. ]

[ And with that dramatic proclamation, Terezi strings 'em up. Thus ends Mr. Cherrybreath. Justice is served. ]

But this isn't- [He pauses, and sighs. The faster they get this over with, the sooner he can continue his training.] ...No, we don't.

[...He had kind of fancied being in law enforcement.]

[ She says this as she beats the corpse of Applesnuggle with her cane. Gotta make sure she's dead, you know. ]

[ Grin. Backpat. ]

[ Remember before when she totally ignored the concept of personal space? Yeah, that's happening now. Except now, her tongue is hovering less than an inch from his nose. ]

[Here goes something.]

...Miss Second-In-Command, there are few things worse than taking an active roll in helping a criminal commit a crime. The title of [Gambli...Gumbleguts? No...] 'pirate' is nothing to be proud of. Do you deny, uh... [He looks to Terezi.] her accusations?

[After his semi-dramatic lines, he sighs. Softly.]

[ Advice from the sidelines: ]

[He did promise the prosecution one lick. He remembered that. It was slightly odd to have someone that close to him, especially with their tongue out, but he still didn't move.]

Death is inevitable. Sometimes it can be delayed. As it should be.

[An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. But that might not have been so appropriate to say to her.]

But a crime should not go unpunished.

[ And she will take that lick right now. Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick-- okay, we're good.

She pulls back, grins. ]

[ And hangs Baron Strawplush. ]

[Elevators and velvet cake, man. And blue. He got out a handkerchief and wiped off any leftover residue from his face. That poor Scalemate. But he did have to be punished somehow, and it was better that Terezi had done it. It was her game, even if he did play a part in it.]

Are the prosecutor and executioner satisfied?

[With the verdict, outcome of the trial, and well, okay, maybe that lick too.]

Good job, Terezi!

[You'll have to excuse her. She is not aware that Terezi is to be called Redglare in the courtroom. She claps for her once more. Rping is pretty fun!

Except there is that lingering hope that Alternian Court isn't as... brutal as this. ]

[ She poses dramatically amidst the backdrop of executed criminals for exactly 31 seconds and 4 milliseconds, before bursting into laughter. ]

No way! You'll steal it and fly away. Besides, it's not finished.

*What with the wires hanging off it and everything.*

[Rei nods slowly, eyeing the Scalemate through her glasses.]

Alright...

[He gives the scalemate a half-hearted slap, but shakes it a bit to compensate.]

Ever? I think I'm okay with that.

[Minato hadn't minded playing it the way he did. It did give him some insight into Terezi's world, as creative as it was.]

... It's hard to outshine the prosecution.

[ Good, good. Hard enough to sting, but won't leave a bruise. Terezi is dealing with a professional here. ]
