He takes a moment and separates out a couple of the paler colors--mint green and lemon yellow.

"One of these."

He points at Terezi's drawing.

"That smells like cough syrup."

[ She shoves the red into his hands and ganks the green and yellow. Terezi promptly stuffs them into her mouth. ]

But he will color. He scribbles a little red patch on the wall.

Okay this tastes like a strawberry milkshake which is far more acceptable but he is still going to turn his head away and spit the chalk out. He's got a growing collection of slobbery chalk sticks now. Awesome.
